NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING RELATING TO ANNUAL SERVICE CHARGE FOR SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT NO. 2
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing shall be conducted by the City Council of St. Louis Park, Minnesota regarding the 2018 annual service charge proposed for Special Service District No. 2. The hearing will be held in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 5005 Minnetonka Boulevard, on Monday October 2, 2017, at approximately 7:30 p.m. The petition requirements for the imposition of service charges have been met.
In accordance with the formula established in the original resolution imposing service charges within Special Service District No. 2, the proposed property owner service charges for 2018 are $36,464. The proposed budgeted amount is a maximum expenditure estimate for the District and service charges for 2018 will not exceed this stated amount. The special services to be rendered in Special Service District No. 2 during 2018 will include landscape maintenance, cleaning of public areas and provision of decorative treatments.
All parties attending the public hearing will be given an opportunity to express their views with respect to the proposed Service District and service charges for 2018. Interested persons may also submit written comments to the City Clerk prior to the date of the hearing. A draft copy of the proposed resolution imposing the service charge shall be available for public inspection following publication of this notice at the Municipal Service Center Administrative Offices of the City of St. Louis Park, 7305 Oxford Street, St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
