South Lake Police reports
Included in the South Lake Police reports for July 27-Aug. 2 were these incidents:
July 27 – Officers were dispatched to a report of a semi-truck leaking fuel on Meadville Street in Greenwood. Officers arrived and assisted blocking off access to the roadway where the spill occurred. The Excelsior Fire District contained the leak.
July 27 – A Minneapolis female was cited for soliciting on Highways 41 and 7 in Shorewood.
July 27 – Two vehicles were involved in a crash on Water Street and Oak Street in Excelsior. One driver was cited for failure to yield. Minor injuries were reported.
July 28 – An individual reported receiving unwanted calls and texts from a friend on Wood Duck Lane in Tonka Bay.
July 29 – A Shorewood male was arrested for fourth-degree driving while impaired with a blood-alcohol content of 0.11 after he was stopped for a traffic violation near Water Street and Second Street in Excelsior.
July 29 – Attempted phone scam on Highview Place in Greenwood. No financial loss was reported.
July 30 – An individual reported someone had stolen wheels from her carrier on Minnetonka Boulevard in Greenwood. Loss unknown.
July 30 – An individual reported a large brush fire on Smithtown Lane in Shorewood. Officers arrived and only found smoke, which led them to locate a residence that was having a barbecue.
July 30 – A Excelsior male was arrested for third-degree driving while impaired with a blood-alcohol content of 0.31 after he was stopped for a traffic violation near Third Avenue and Wheeler Drive in Excelsior.
July 31 – An individual reported that his girlfriend had been missing on Mill Street in Excelsior. Officers were able to make contact with the girlfriend.
July 31 – An individual reported someone had stolen $500 in currency from his apartment on Mill Street in Excelsior.
Aug. 1 – An individual reported a group of girls were screaming on the Excelsior docks in Excelsior. Officers made contact with the girls who said that they were making a movie. They apologized for being loud.
Aug. 2 – An Eden Prairie male and Maple Plain female were cited for underage consumption of alcohol after officers checked on the vehicle that was parked in Manitou Park in Tonka Bay after hours.

Deephaven Police reports
Included in the Deephaven Police reports for July were these incidents:
There were 182 traffic stops, 159 radio calls, 25 written warnings, 133 verbal warnings, 136 citations, 75 citations for speeding, medical calls, 30 alarms and two crashes.
Deephaven Police assisted the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department seven times, Minnetonka Police five times and the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office Water Patrol once.
Deephaven Police was assisted twice by the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department and once by Minnetonka Police.
