Wayzata police reports July 18-24

Included in the Wayzata police reports for July 18-24 were these incidents:

One missing person, five motor vehicle crashes involving property damage, one crash involving a bicycle/pedestrian, one hit-and-run motor vehicle crash involving property damage, one fire alarm, three reports of hazardous road conditions, one suicide threat, 13 other medical calls, three wellbeing checks on adults, two wellbeing checks on juveniles, one verbal domestic incident, three civil matters, one trespass warning or order, four reports of disturbance, seven reports of suspicion, one fireworks complaint or warning, nine driving or traffic complaints, five house or business checks, one report of solicitation, two animal complaints or checks, one call to assist in child protection, seven business alarms, three home alarms and four calls to assist another department.

July 18 – A reported theft of a boat motor resulting in a $2,650 loss on the 400 block of Arlington Circle South.

July 18 – A report of a suspicious occupied vehicle on the 200 block of Walker Avenue North. It was found that the driver was on his break from work.

July 18 – A report of an attempted burglary on the 100 block of Huntington Avenue South. Pry marks were found on a door, but no entry was made.

July 18 – A report of identity theft on the 800 block of Lake Street East. No loss has been reported at this time.

July 18 – Damage to property on the 200 block of Grove Lane East.

July 18 – A report of a disturbance on the 600 block of Wayzata Boulevard East. Nothing unusual was heard upon officer arrival, and the parties were advised of the report.

July 20 – A report of a solicitor in the area on the 400 block of Wayzata Boulevard East. The area was checked, but officers were unable to locate the person in question.

July 20 – A report of harassing communications on the 800 block of Mill Street East. This case is under investigation.

July 20 – A report of a verbal dispute on the 600 block of Harmony Circle. All parties agreed to leave each other alone for the remainder of the night.

July 21 – A 28-year-old Independence female was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on the 1100 block of Wayzata Boulevard East after a blood-alcohol content test of 0.11.

July 21 – A report of construction noise before 7 a.m. on the 300 block of Reno Street. The project manager was notified of the complaint.

July 22 – A reported theft of a purse resulting in a $1,113 loss on the 300 block of Ferndale Road West.

July 22 – Charges are pending following a report of domestic assault on the 300 block of Lakeview Avenue in Long Lake.

July 23 – A report of a male trespassing on private property on the 1700 block of Wayzata Boulevard West in Long Lake. A letter was mailed to the registered owner of the vehicle advising them to cease and desist.

July 23 – A witness reported a physical domestic assault on the 1100 block of Wayzata Boulevard East. All involved parties were gone upon officer arrival.

July 24 – A report of a missing person on the 400 block of Wayzata Boulevard East. The person was later located and returned home.
