Townhouse fire reported in Plymouth

The Plymouth Fire Department responded to a house fire on the north side of Plymouth just after 2 p.m. Aug. 2. The fire involved a multi-unit townhouse on the 13800 block of 54th Avenue North, according to the report.

The fire reportedly started as a vehicle fire and spread to the deck and the siding on the multi-unit townhouse.

First arriving units extinguished the fire and the damage was contained to the exterior of the townhouse unit and the truck. No injuries were reported.

Assistance was received from Brooklyn Park Fire, Maple Grove Fire, Wayzata Fire, West Metro Fire, North Ambulance and Plymouth Police.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
