The locally owned Plymouth Station Holiday has announced the BBQ FUNdraiser line up for this summer. The nonprofit groups chosen for the Tuesday events will keep all of the sales from the barbecue and car wash from between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The lineup includes:
July 11 – Boy Scout Troop 537
July 18 – Holy Name of Jesus Church Youth Group
July 25 – Minnesotans Fighting Distracted Driving
Aug. 1 – Helping Paws, Inc.
Aug. 8 – Bloom Early Learning & Child Care
Aug. 15 – Plymouth Crime & Fire Prevention Fund
Aug. 22 – Plymouth Beyond the Yellow Ribbon
Aug. 29 – Plymouth Police Law Enforcement Explorers
Customers can enjoy freshly grilled burgers, brats and hot dogs with chips and an ice-cold pop at a great price. The station donates all car wash sales, food and supplies along with a cook and food service person.
“This is our favorite time of the year,” said Louise Crew, store manager. “The barbecues allow us to mingle with the community and really talk to our customers. Our employees really enjoy this opportunity to build relationships in our community and have fun at work. It’s important to our store to make a difference in our wonderful community.”
