It was announced last month that the popular “Resident Evil” franchise would be getting a reboot – just a few months after last winter’s “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter” ended its theatrical run.
But for those fans that just can’t wait for the series to return to theaters, another “Resident Evil” film will be makings its way to theaters for a one-night-only engagement on Monday, June 19, thanks to Fathom Events.
“Resident Evil: Vendetta,” the third “RE” CG animated feature film – following in the footsteps of 2008’s “Degeneration” and 2012’s “Damnation” – will feature the fan-favorite characters Leon S. Kennedy (Matt Mercer), Chris Redfield (Kevin Dorman) and Rebecca Chambers (Erin Cahill).
As is the case with its predecessors, “Vendetta” will fall more in line with the “RE” video game series, rather than the Milla Jovovich-led live action series.
In addition to giving U.S. filmgoers their first chance to see the film, the Fathom Events screening will include an exclusive introduction from members of the cast and crew, as well as some behind-the-scenes footage.
The following Minnesota theatres will show the film: AMC Southdale, AMC Rosedale, AMC Arbor Lakes, Oakdale Cinema and Brooklyn Center 20.
More details about the one-night event can be found here: https://www.fathomevents.com/events/resident-evil-vendetta?date=2017-06-19
And, thanks to the fine folks at Fathom Events and Allied Integrated Marketing – Minneapolis, we will be giving away a pair of passes to the Monday night festivities.
To enter, simply send an email with your name, email address and phone number to [email protected] by 9 p.m., Thursday, June 15. One winner will be selected at random.
