Hammer Residences has announced the recipients of this year’s Community Partner Awards.
Each year Hammer, a Wayzata-based supportive community for children and adults living with disabilities, selects six individuals, families or community organizations from its team of volunteers for the awards. In total, more than 500 dedicated volunteers offer their time and gifts to support the community’s mission.
An awards committee chooses recipients based on the number of years of service and number of volunteer hours and financial contributions to the organization and the people it supports.
The six winners for 2017 are the Scheller family of Maple Grove, the Alber family of Golden Valley, the Klug family of Minnetonka, the Bailey family of St. Paul, Andrew Ervin of White Bear Lake and Paige Goedderez, a Wayzata High School senior who lives in Medina.
The winners will be honored at a spring breakfast Saturday, April 29, at the Sheraton Hotel in Minnetonka. For more information on this event, and to register, visit hammer.org/breakfast.
