Included in the Wayzata police reports for March 7-13 were these incidents:
One missing person, two motor vehicle crashes involving personal injury, five motor vehicle crashes involving property damage, three reports of hazardous road conditions, eight other medical calls, one medical alarm, two wellbeing checks on adults, one verbal domestic incident, two reports of disturbance, five reports of suspicion, two driving or traffic complaints, four house or business checks, one animal complaint or check, four calls to assist in child protection, seven business alarms, one home alarm and one call to assist another department.
March 7 – A vulnerable adult was reported missing on the 400 block of Wayzata Boulevard East. The male was later located and transported home.
March 7 – A 50-year-old Wayzata male was arrested at Ferndale Road South and Peavey Lane for driving under the influence after a blood-alcohol content test of 0.17.
March 8 – A report of fraudulent checks being used on the 800 block of Lake Street East. A loss of $9,842 was reported.
March 9 – A reported theft resulting in a $7 loss on the 1300 block of Wayzata Boulevard East.
March 9 – Charges are pending after a reported violation of a court order on the 200 block of Barry Avenue South.
March 10 – A 43-year-old Waconia male was arrested at County Road 15 and Highway 12 for driving under the influence after a blood-alcohol content test of 0.13.
March 11 – A vehicle running a red light collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Wayzata Boulevard East and Bushaway Road. Both vehicles then collided with a Wayzata squad car that was stopped for the red light. Two occupants of one of the vehicles were injured and transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The officer sustained minor injuries.
March 12 – A report of a counterfeit bill being offered to pay for services on the 1300 block of Wayzata Boulevard East. This case is under investigation.
March 12 – A report of an intoxicated male arguing with his roommate on the 1800 block of Symes Street in Long Lake. The male agreed to leave for the night.
March 13 – A reported verbal domestic incident on the 300 block of Ferndale Road North.
