Photos: ‘World’s Shortest Parade’ is annual St. Paddy’s tradition in Hopkins

Irish weather on St. Patrick’s Day didn’t dampen the fun in Hopkins, as residents gathered to celebrate with the World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade, a lively march from the Elks Lodge on Eighth Avenue, winding down four blocks of Mainstreet and ending at the American Legion on 12th Avenue. The Legion and the Elks Club have hosted the parade for years, taking turns hosting the afterparty festivities.
