Shed fire reported  in Minnetonka

The Minnetonka Fire Department responded to a report of a shed on fire at approximately 9:45 p.m., Thursday, March 16, near the intersection of Norwood Drive and Elm Drive.
Fire Chief John Vance said the structure, about the size of an SUV, was fully engulfed when firefighters responded to the scene. Two fire engines were able to contain the blaze. A nearby house sustained minor heat damage, including melted siding and cracked windows.
“It wasn’t too bad, but it could have been,” Vance said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Burglary: 2800 Jordan Avenue, 10100 block of Cedar Lake Road, 10300 block of Cedar Lake Road.
Driving While Impaired: No incidents reported.
Assault: 12300 block of Ridgedale Drive.
Domestic: 11400 block of Deer Ridge Lane, 500 block of Carlson Parkway.
Fraud: 12600 block of Marion Lane West, 17500 block of Highway 7, 5000 block of Holiday Road, 13400 block of Larkin Circle, 3300 block of Martha Lane.
Hopkins
The Hopkins Police Department reported these incidents March 10-17:
Theft: 400 block of Mainstreet, 500 block of Blake Road North, 00 block of Seventh Avenue North, 600 block of Minnetonka Mills Road.
Burglary: 600 block of Minnetonka Mills Road.
Robbery: No incidents reported.
Property Damage: 900 block of Seventh Street South.
Driving While Impaired: No incidents reported.
Assault: 900 block of Feltl Court.
Domestic: No incidents reported.
Fraud: 00 block of Seventh Avenue North, 1900 block of Mainstreet.
