McCormick’s Pub in Wayzata to host weekend long St. Patrick’s Day celebration

McCormick’s Pub & Restaurant, 331 Broadway Ave. S. in Wayzata invites guests to a St. Patrick’s Day celebration March 17-19 for food, fun and refreshments for the entire family.

The weekend-long festivities include a beer garden and tent, traditional Irish food and live music.

Friday, St. Patrick’s Day, begins with a 10 a.m. Catholic Mass. The pub opens at 11 a.m. for traditional celebrations that includes bagpipers, Irish dancers, traditional food and drinks and live music from Rattlebag and The Teddy Holidays.

On Saturday, the tent opens at 9 a.m. and will feature Irish dancers and live music from Rattlebag and The Irish Brigade featuring Mike Wallace.

On Sunday, the pub will host an 11 a.m. performance by the Rince Nua Irish Dancers. Families are invited to bring the kids to the heated tent 10 a.m.-2 p.m. for games, cookie decorating, face painting, mini-donuts and hot chocolate.

Guests can also buy a $10 raffle ticket for a chance to win a trip to Ireland. The prize is $2,000 toward airfare. All raffle proceeds benefit Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners’ Prevent Hunger campaign.
