Hay Creek Hotels has hired Ryan Lund as executive chef of Restaurant Nine Twenty-Five, which is set to open in early summer as part of The Hotel Landing in Wayzata.
Lund brings 11 years of executive chef experience to the new restaurant. He worked at Kitchen Window Cooking School and Event Center as the executive chef for one year and a decade at Lucia’s Restaurant and Bar in Minneapolis.
During his time at Lucia’s, Lund gained experience with seasonal menu management and local sourcing. Lund’s additional culinary experience includes serving as the event chef at Fabulous Catering, and as a line cook at D’Amico & Sons.
“We are thrilled to have Chef Ryan join our team,” said Katie Neufeld, general manager. “His years of experience in the Minneapolis market combined with his knack for creating memorable service and remarkable food will be a great asset to our hotel family and the nearby community.”
The two-level restaurant will feature outdoor seating capacity, a private dining room and contemporary bar, as well as meeting and banquet facilities.
The Hotel Landing, the final block of The Promenade of Wayzata, is managed by Hay Creek Hotels, developed by BohLand Development and designed by The Cuningham Group. The Wayzata building is anticipated to open in May, and will feature 92 guest rooms and suites and 31 luxury residential condominiums.
