Mount Calvary presents ‘The Foreigner’ Oct. 13-16

Mount Calvary Lutheran Church’s Theatre 301 will present the classic, beloved play by Larry Shue, “The Foreigner,” 7:30 p.m. Oct. 13, 14 and 15 and 2 p.m. Oct. 16, at 301 County Road 19, Excelsior.

Set in a fishing lodge in rural Georgia, this modern-day melodrama is a hilarious ride, while confronting some real issues as the characters respond to the ‘foreigner’ in their midst.

A British demolition expert, a pathologically shy young man, a two-faced minister, a rich young woman and her brother, a local redneck property inspector and the woman who owns the lodge make up the electric cast.

Tickets at $15 for adults and $5 for students ages 18 and under. Group tickets are available for groups of 10 or more for $12.50 each. Order online at mountcalvaryarts.org or call 9520274-8893, extension 301.
