Twin Cities Film Festival: 8 weeks and counting

The Twin Cities Film Festival will be held Aug. 17-26.

In just under 8 weeks the Twin Cities will get a little taste of Hollywood (along with some Minnesota flare) when the Twin Cities Film Fest gets underway.

For 10 days (Oct. 17-26), Icon Theatres in St. Louis Park’s West End will play host to the festival, which will feature mainstream Hollywood premieres, alongside independent short films, feature films and documentaries. In addition to the films, the festival includes red carpet events, gala parties, mixers, educational panels and discussions.

In the coming weeks, Sun Media – the official media sponsor of the festival – will provide updates on film and event schedules, as well as a look at how the festival comes together, how films get selected and the films themselves.

The festival schedule will be released in full in September – 5 films will be announced early next week.

In the meantime, Silver, Gold and Platinum passes, all of which are transferable, are available for purchase on the TCFF website.

You can keep up-to-date on festival happenings at the official website or via social media – Facebook and Twitter.
