Apollo: Why we went to the Moon
11 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, March 13. Cost: $5.
What some consider mankind’s greatest technological achievement took place in July 1969 when Americans first explored the moon. Historical researcher David Jones will deliver a nontechnical presentation about the event. Register by Friday, March 8.
Mahalia at the Old Log Theatre
11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 20. Cost: $58.
The musical Mahalia is based on the life of Mahalia Jackson, a legendary gospel singer, and is presented at the Old Log Theater on Lake Minnetonka. Transportation and lunch before the musical are included.
