Minnetonka earns top honors in one act play

In this production, Vivian Bearing, Ph.D., a renowned scholar and professor of English who has spent years teaching the brilliant sonnets of John Donne, has been diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer. She is admitted to one of the nation’s best teaching hospitals. She undergoes a rigorous experimental chemotherapy program, which will force her to reassess her life and her work with profundity and humor that transform both her and the audience.
