Devil went up to Minnesota (photo)

St. Louis Park High School student Ryan McCanna performs “Devil Went Down to Georgia” with the band Union Shakedown Feb. 7 during the Senior High Orchestra’s Rock Concert to raise funds for a spring 2014 orchestra trip to London and Paris. Students performed an eclectic mix of pieces, including Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Santana, Metallica, Muse and the Charlie Daniels Band. The Senior High Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra have doubled in size over the past two years. The London and Paris trip will be the orchestra’s first out-of-country and fourth out-of-state performance opportunity students will have had in four years.
