Clean water open house March 13
The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District is hosting a clean water open house 6:30-8 p.m. with a brief program at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at the Freshwater Society, 2500 Shadywood Rd., in Orono.
The District hopes the meeting will spur public input on clean water to determine what aspects of protecting clean water are important to community members. The input will provide valuable insight as the District develops a strategic plan for long-term management and protection of local water resources.
In addition to open houses, the District is also accepting feedback online. Community members can weigh in by taking a brief survey at WeighInOnCleanWater.com.
