Main Street school brings ‘Willy Wonka’ to stage
The Main Street School of Performing Arts will present Roald Dahl’s Broadway classic “Willy Wonka” 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, through Saturday, March 2, and 7 p.m. Thursday, March 7 and Friday March 8, at The Lab Theater, 700 N. 1st St., Minneapolis.
A large ensemble of actors, musicians and crew members will bring this family-friendly production to the stage.
“Willy Wonka” is the timeless story of the world-famous candyman and his quest to find an heir. The story comes to life in this adaptation of “Charlie and The Chocolate Factory,” featuring songs from the 1971 film “Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory.”
