St. Louis Park restaurant participates in Junior League fundraiser

A St. Louis Park restaurant will participate in an evening of food, drinks and entertainment at the Junior League of Minneapolis’ “Duets: An Evening of Perfect Pairings”  7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at Aria at the Jeune Lune, 105 First St. N. in Minneapolis.

Yum! Kitchen and Bakery, 4000 Minnetonka Blvd. in St. Louis Park, is among restaurants participating. This is the third consecutive year the league will feature the Duets theme at its annual One Night Fundraiser.

During the event, guests may receive beer, wine and other spirits paired with signature tasting dishes from Yum! and other Twin Cities restaurants, including Red Stag Supperclub, The Oceanaire Seafood Room and French Meadow Bakery.

In addition, guests can enjoy live entertainment and bid on items during live and silent auctions, including:

• Tour of the Betty Crocker Kitchens at General Mills Headquarters

• “First Pitch” package from the Minnesota Twins

• Private in-home wine tasting from sip.savor.style

• Tickets for performances at Ordway Theater and Guthrie Theater

• Private cooking classes

“Duets is a way for our members and community members to learn more about the JLM and our projects that work to close the achievement gap, while enjoying food from some of the finest restaurants in Minneapolis,” said Sarah Curfman, president of the league.

Those projects include Backpack Buddies, Kids in the Kitchen and Between the Lines.

Individual tickets for Duets are $125; patron tables for six are $1,000
