Education series on kids’ eating habits in Minnetonka

St. David’s Center for Child & Family Development will host its next Community Education Series “Picky Eaters vs. Problem Feeders” 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at the center, 3395 Plymouth Road, Minnetonka.

What is the difference between a picky eater and a problem feeder? This lecture for parents and professionals will answer that question and provide an overview of how and when children develop necessary skills for feeding, pinpoint key developmental times when children may “get stuck” in feeding patterns and identify when to seek assistance with feeding issues and offer strategies to support positive food experiences.

This event is free and open to the public. Childcare is available and must be requested at registration.

Register by Friday, Jan. 18 at stdavidscenter.org/ces, or contact St. David’s Center Special Events Manager at events@stdavidscenter.org or 952-548-8627.
