The Minnetonka Police Department responded to the following incidents Dec. 16-22.

Theft:

• 10300 block of Cedar Lake Road; 18300 block of Highway 7; 2400 block of Lindbergh Drive; 13500 block of Ridgedale Drive; 11500 block of Encore Circle; 16900 block of Saddlewood Trail; 12900 block of Ridgedale Drive; 11200 block of Wayzata Boulevard; 5300 block of Beacon Hill Road; 3600 block of Baker Road; 14400 block of Excelsior Boulevard; 12200 block of Ridgedale Drive; 17700 block of Highway 7; 10600 block of Smetana Road; 14600 block of Minnetonka Boulevard; 2400 block of Lindbergh Drive; 4700 block of Clear Spring Road; 1600 block of Plymouth Road; 12400 block of Wayzata Boulevard

Burglary:

• 15600 block of Wayzata Boulevard; 10600 block of Smetana Road; 2400 block of Emerald Trail

Property damage:

• 10400 block of Cedar Lake Road; 2700 block of Hedberg Drive

Assault:

• No assaults were reported.

DWI:

• Two people were arrested for DWI.

Minnetonka Fire

On Friday morning, the fire department along with engines from Hopkins and Eden Prairie, responded to a structure fire at a townhome on Clear Spring Road.  First arriving companies found a working fire on the second floor, which was quickly extinguished and the area overhauled.  There were no injuries, and the cause is under investigation.

On Saturday afternoon, the fire department along with engines from Hopkins and Eden Prairie, responded to a structure fire at a townhome on Saddlewood Drive. First arriving companies found a working basement fire, which was quickly extinguished and the area overhauled. The resident was evaluated by Hennepin County Medical Center ambulance personnel. There were no firefighter injuries, and the cause is under investigation.

Early on Sunday morning, the fire department assisted the Chanhassen Fire Department for a commercial roof fire at a swim school on Lake Drive.  An engine, chief officers and the air truck assisted with firefighter recycling, incident management, overhaul, and salvage.

On Christmas Day, the fire department was requested mutual aid by Plymouth for a working townhouse fire on Shenandoah Lane.  Two engines and the air truck were sent, where they assisted with extinguishment, firefighter recycling and overhaul.
