Registration deadline coming for Orono Community Education
Interested in details about the following classes or programs offered by Orono Community Education? Call 952-449-8350 or stop by the office 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Orono Education Link, 705 Old Crystal Bay Road, Long Lake.
• Wednesday, Jan. 2 – Deadline to register for classes and programs that begin the week of Jan. 7.
Adult programs include Row Your Way to Fitness!, Clay Open Studio, Stained Glass Open Studio, Acrylic Painting Open Studio and Hot, Healthy Soups for Cold, Wintery Nights
Youth programs include Little Artist Workshop (ages 2-4), Expert SAT Prep from The Princeton Review (grade 10 and up) and Ice Skating Lessons (ages 3-18).
• Saturday, Jan. 5 – Open swim, 1-3 p.m., Orono Education Link, $3 per person.
• Tuesday, Jan. 8 – Deadline to register for classes and programs that begin the week of Jan. 14.
Adult programs include: Small but Mighty Indoor Gardens, Getting Started Cross Country Skiing and Beginning Belly Dance.
Youth programs include Trombone Ensemble (grades 9-12), Chess Team (grades 6-9) and Grandmasters of Chess (grades K-5).
• Saturday, Jan. 12 – Open swim, 1-3 p.m., Orono Education Link, $3 per person.
