Harvest Invite results
The North Shore Gymnastics Association’s Level 4, 5 and 6 teams entered the Harvest Invitational Oct. 21 in North St. Paul.
The North Shore Level 5 team finished second. The Level 4s were third and the Level 6s were fourth.
Mei Vickery, 9, of Minnetrista led North Shore’s Level 4 team with a fourth place in the all-around. Her high score was 9.3 on vault.
Makena Rasmussen, 8, of Independence posted an all-around score of 35.75 in Level 5. Samantha Poeschl, 11, of Plymouth had an all-around score of 35.55 and earned a first place on balance beam with a 9.3.
In Level 6, Abby Ylitalo, 12, of Plymouth had North Shore’s highest all-around score, 35.525. Her teammate, Nicole Albertson, 13, of Orono posted an all-around score of 35.5. Bella Burke, 11, of Orono followed with a 34.75.
MSF broomball dates
The Minnesota Sports Federation (MSF) has set the dates for its state broomball tournaments.
Class A, B and C co-rec tournaments will be March 2-3 at the Blaine Super Rink.
Class A and B women’s and Class A, B and C men’s tournaments will be March 8-10 at the Blaine Super Rink.
The USA Broomball Nationals will be March 22-24 in Oxford, Ohio.
The entry fee for the state tournaments is $355 per team. Each team must also pay a $15 team fee.

State volleyball dates
The Minnesota Sports Federation state volleyball tournament schedule is set.
Class AA, A, B and C women’s state tournaments will be March 16-17 at Hutchinson Rec Center.
Men’s Class AA, A, B and C tournament play will be March 23-24 at Hutchinson Rec Center.
Class AA, A, B and C state co-rec tournaments are set April 13-14 at St. Cloud State University.
Men’s and women’s Masters state tournaments will be April 21 at St. Cloud State University. Men’s Masters are 35 and over. Women’s Masters are 32 and over.
The entry fee for each of the state tournaments is $155 per team. Each team must also pay a $15 team fee.
