Dist. 281 plans childrens ‘Super Saturday’ Nov. 17
Super Saturday is a program designed to give children a chance to take classes on a Saturday morning while parents take some time for themselves. Times are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Winnetka Learning Center, 7940 55th Ave., N., New Hope, for the following classes:
Classes for ages 3-5:
Amazing Me; Dynamite Dinosaurs; Lego Land; Messy Art; Pee-Wee Sports Mania; Scooby Dooby Doo Art
Session A meets 9-10 a.m.; Session B meets 10-11 a.m.; Session C meets 11 a.m. to noon; and Session D meets noon to 1 p.m. Cost is $8 per session. All children must be toilet-trained.
Classes for K-Grade 5:
Blasting Straw Rocket Technology; Crazy Cartooning; Creative Cupcake Art; Dance Dance Revolution; Extreme Legos; Fitness Frenzy; It’s Magic; Make Your Own Calendar; Mario Kart Mania Art; Positively Pirates; Thanksgiving Sweets; Under the Ground
Period 1 meets 9-10:55 a.m.; Period 2 meets 11:05 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $16 per period.
