Hopkins schools hosts World Café Oct. 4

Hopkins Public Schools is renewing its mission and strategic plan. As part of this process, the entire community is invited to attend a World Café event and participate in an important visionary discussion that will shape the future of Hopkins Public Schools.

The event is 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Hopkins High School cafeteria, 2400 Lindbergh Drive, Minnetonka. Dinner is 5:30-6:30 p.m. and the “visioning” portion of the event is 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Community members, parents, teachers, staff members, administrators and school board officers will discuss ideas for engaging the educational community, building an innovative and collaborative program and exploring relevant learning for students. The community conversation will enable participates to co-evolve the futures they want rather than settle for the futures they get.

Those who wish to attend should RSVP to Bobbi McLaird at bobbi.mclaird@hopkinsschools.org.

Childcare may be offered if enough people request it. Please indicate if this service is needed.
